Claire Boine joined a multidisciplinary panel of experts at Mila - Quebec AI Institute to discuss AI's major risks for society.


The panel consisted of:


Yoshua Bengio, professor at the University of Montreal, holder of the Turing Prize and scientific director of Mila and IVADO;


Claire Boine, PhD in Law candidate at the University of Ottawa Centre for Law, Technology and Society;


Caroline Lequesne-Roth, lecturer and responsible for the Master 2 in “Algorithmic law and data governance” at the Université Côte d’Azur;


Jocelyn Maclure, professor of philosophy at McGill University, holder of the Jarislowsky Chair in Human Nature and Technology and President of the Commission on Ethics in Science and Technology;


Sonja Solomun, Deputy Director of the Centre for Media, Technology and Democracy at McGill University;


Hugo Loiseau, Professor and Director of the School of Applied Politics at l’Université de Sherbrooke.
