Claire Boine founded Successif and served as CEO in the first years, building the organization from inception to a team of 11. She continues to guide Successif's strategic direction while serving as Assistant Professor in Technology Law and AI Governance at the European University Institute's School of Transnational Governance.
 

Claire has over a decade of experience bridging the gap between research and policy. She has worked on AI liability, AI-enabled manipulation, AI companions, consumer protection, and General Purpose AI systems. She has held teaching and research positions at the Washington University School of Law, Boston University, and Harvard University.
 

Claire holds a PhD in AI law from the University of Ottawa, a French J.D. in international and European law, a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard University, a Master's in political science from Toulouse University, a graduate diploma in conflict analysis, and a Bachelor's in History.
